ABOUT THE BOOK AND AUTHOR
White Fang is an adventure novel was written by Jack London (1876-1916) and first published in 1906. It is one of Jack London's most popular works.
The novel is named after the central character, White Fang, a wild wolfdog. Set in the 1890s during the Klondike Gold Rush and taking place in the Yukon and Northwest Territories in northern Canada, the story follows White Fang's journey from his life in the wild to his domestication.
The Call of the Wild is a companion novel to White Fang.
Jack London was a prolific writer of novels, short stories, non-fiction, autobiographical memoirs, plays and more. Some of his most famous works include The Call of the Wild, White Fang, The Sea Wolf, The Iron Heel, Martin Eden and The People of the Abyss.
