Born in Australia and living on Sydney's Northern Beaches, Ruth spent her working life in accounting, only fulfilling a lifelong ambition of writing after retirement. Her first novel One Step at a Time was published by Wings ePress in 2015, which, similar to Transitions, drew largely on her experiences and observations of those around her.
