by Wayne Jarman (Author)
As war gathers beyond the borders of Arrindare and the shadow of the Dark Emperor stretches across the land, King Daroyd prepares his realm for a conflict that may consume generations.
Born in Australia in 1954, Wayne Jarman is the son of a Wharf Labourer. He grew up in a Wharf-side suburb of Newcastle, New South Wales (just north of Sydney). As an Engineering Technician, he spent his entire working career in Heavy Industry (beginning in a Steelworks in 1973) and Coal Mines in New South Wales and Queensland. He and Lindi met when they were seventeen, married at twenty two, and now have a daughter and a son and two grandchildren. Wayne has always enjoyed writing but didn't begin in earnest until 1988 when he began writing his Fantasy novel: To the Honour of the Kings. He persevered with trying to find that elusive 'spare time for creative stuff', even during the last seventeen years of self-employment. Now retired, and with Lindi's on-going support, he plans to complete three of his works-in-progress this year. His creative interests also include Art (mainly painting in Oils and with Encaustic Wax), Photography (Still and Video) and Acting (Stage and Screen).
