by Pat Dunlap Evans (Author)
If you like stories that bring a tear and a smile, join a crotchety professor, his psychic wife, tech-guru daughter, clever grandchildren, and loyal best friends on a journey to overcome a past tragedy. As in any family story, there's laughter and love between the troubled times. The clever dialogue, surprising humor, and poignant ending will make you feel as if the Andrew Ward family is just like your own.
Pat Dunlap Evans was born in Michigan but "got to Texas as soon as I could." Her family lived in San Antonio and Dallas, where she attended South Oak Cliff High School and Southern Methodist University, eventually completing her bachelor's and master's degrees in English at University of Missouri, Kansas City. After college, Pat stressed her way through twenty-five years of various advertising and marketing roles before retiring at last to write novels. She lives in the Lake Travis area with her second husband, Dr. Bill Evans, and enjoys travel, golf, lap swimming, sailing and the escapades of the couple's combined five adult children, five grandchildren, one great-grandson and two Cockalier dogs.
