A Duiker is actually a species of antelope, so the Zebra Duiker is an antelope - not a zebra.
As you can see from the cover, however, Zebra Duikers have stripes - much like zebras. Stripes are actually associated with zebras (at least in the animal world), so that explains why this type of antelope is named that way.
Actually, it also goes by other names. Since its most notable characteristic is the stripes on its back, it is also called Striped-Back Duiker. Since stripes are also called bands, they are also called Banded Duikers.
