Leslie LaRue, an author and native of Louisiana moves to the French Quarter in New Orleans where she hopes to get inspiration, without interruption to write a novel. She soon finds mysteries lurk in every corner as she explores the world around her including Annabelle, a lawyer and her landlord, and Sidney, a man with whom she finds attractive but very elusive and full of secrets. Annabelle eventually shares some disturbing news taking Leslie down a path of unknowns.
