Eight-year-old Samuel Redden is having terrible nightmares. They're of killer gorillas, who walk upright like men, display vampire-like teeth, and brandish unnatural long claws at their fingertips. As children go, this might not seem like a unique phenomenon. He can probably ask all his classmates in his third-grade class and find similar nighttime experiences. Except for one thing.
