In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

"Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good! And evening passed and morning came, marking the sixth day" (Gen. 1:31).

On the seventh day, he ended his work and blessed it.

Before long, that fateful day came to a close.

And God ended his rest.

It was time.
