Maj. Ezra Hayes is deployed to an austere desert outpost in the Middle East during the COVID-19 pandemic. In a dream, a dark stranger warns him not to receive the vaccines being offered to the troops. The major begins to suspect that the vaccines might harm his health or even kill him.
