Emily's right hand shook and tried steadying it with the left hand but could make it to stop shaking. She stretched her hands, and some laser beams came out of her fingers and struck the purse snatcher. "Oh, no."
From a far distance, in a snowy cave, the same unknown man monitoring the other teenagers Jake, Max, Alice and Kevin was also observing Emily performing with her powers.
Emily's hand went back to normal, and she ran to where the snatcher laid, groaning in pain. "Ouch... Sorry you can go."
He scrambled up from the floor, trembling in fear, and he ran away.
The man in the snow cave stood up from his seat. "What an incredible power. I am sure these are the teenagers to save the world and defeat Zophra. That's should be all for now. I'll deliver the message tomorrow."
He clapped his hands once. Emily disappeared into the air and resurfaced at her house.
"Who am I?" She shook her head in amazement. She wondered how she was doing strange things.
Jake drove with speed above usual and stopped at a deserted street, empty of people. He was oblivious to a man watching him from a dark corner. It was the same man watching Max from a dark corner, dressed in a white long soutane with a gold covering on his head. His clothes shined in the darkness, but his face was invisible.
Jake came out of his car in full of rage. "How did I cheat? How?"
The man in the dark appeared. "Why is he angry?"
"How dare they do that to me! Ha...." The moment Jack yelled and screamed, the ground and everything around shook. Surprised by this occurrence, Jake turned round, looking at all the cracks. He got scared.
"This is not possible. I'm the one to have the throne, not the Holy One." Zophra tried to free himself from the iron chain wrapped around his body, but the royal guards pinned him down. His body shook with rage and his eyes turned red. He was angry with the judgement of the Holy One, but Zophra couldn't do anything to change it since the God-Head has given all authority to the Holy One.
