by Susana Romatz (Author)
Ever since 15-year-old Tabitha Louise Greyson visited the Mayan ruins of Mexico, her life has been turned upside down. After a series of mysterious dreams and visions, Tabitha lapses into an eight-day coma, leaving her two best friends, Mackie and Jillian, to hunt down the source of her enchantment. While Mackie and Jillian chase clues from Mayan glyphs to unusual derby hatted strangers to try and help their friend, Tabitha's consciousness exits her body and takes a whirlwind tour of the first eight underworlds. During the course of their adventure, all three girls awaken to their own ways of thinking about the world, with help from special guides, just in the nick of time.
