L. C. Wright turns the story over to the characters from the beginning just to see how they might get into trouble. He believes that each person tells a unique story and it's the author's job to blend those stories together no matter how serious (or absurd) they become. He lives on California mountainside in Carmel Valley, CA with his wife Melissa, their Black Lab, Barney and Little Girl, the precocious cat who rules them all.
