by Kiri Jane Erb (Author), Andy Steiger (Foreword by)
An immersive introduction to philosophical theology enfleshed within historical fiction. Three compelling, interwoven narratives boldly intersect everything from Greek mythology to existentialism and the postmodern to clear a path. This is literature that plunges into the depths of human existence, inviting readers to test the strength of the Christian hope in the midst of death and darkness--a hope that is not ignorant but engaged.
Kiri is a speaker, teacher, and apologist based in British Columbia, Canada. She is passionate about the clarity, beauty, and relevance of the Christian Gospel gaining traction in hearts--not in spite of, but in relation to the lived human experience. Her novel, Love, War and the Mess In Between, carries this same heartbeat, nested in historical fiction. Kiri earned her MA in Systematic and Philosophical Theology at the University of Nottingham, UK, as well as a BA in Politics and International Relations (Nottingham and McGill, QC). She is also an Alumnus of the Oxford Center for Christian Apologetics. While Director of Theology for Soul Edge Ministries, Kiri is likewise delighted to invest in the spiritual and educational journeys of students at a wide range of levels, from academic training institutes to the high school classroom. As part of the Apologetics Canada adjunct speaking team, Kiri regularly speaks across Canada (and beyond).
