Karma, or Ka: me, is not a verb it's a noun. That is, it is not a doing word, its the name of a 'thing.' Hindu and Buddhist religious, based on the philosophy of Buddha define it as [' the sum of a persons' actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences.'] This might simply be stated in a western psychological sense as good or bad luck, viewed as a result of one's actions.
