After leaving the Marines, Pat served as an air ambulance pilot. He has over 2400 missions to his credit. Pat has done flight instruction in all fifty of the United States; flown military and commercial flights in East Asia, Africa and to and from many ships and oil platforms at sea; and has experience conducting counter-drug missions in the Caribbean. Pat and his wife Linda have three grown sons (John, Gordon and James) and live on a ranch in the Texas Hill Country west of Austin.
