Author Biography

Layne Walker, a cowboy, dancer, and desert explorer, lives in Lake Havasu, AZ. He began his writing career in the summer of 2010 when he was challenged to write his own novel after years of being an avid novel reader. In February of 2012, his first published book, Gold Balls of Fur and Other Snapshots of Life, presented a collection of his early short stories. In March of that year, his first action-adventure novel, Escaping Yellowstone, arrived on the market. This book begins with the explosion of the active super-volcano that exists under Yellowstone Park as a man escapes with his family to find refuge in a world thrown into turmoil. In October of 2012, Layne published his novel Tainted Gold, another suspenseful action story about a man stumbling upon a portal into another world. Although this new world offers unimaginable riches, it also brings with it unexpected challenges and deadly circumstances. All Layne's stories end with surprising twists. Once the writing fever got hold of Layne, he found himself on the adventure of his own life, constantly filled with new ideas for more novels, more action, more fun, and more surprises yet to come.
