Defend freedom. Prevent Armageddon. That's the Zeta maxim when the nefarious Ares organization plots to destabilize world powers on triple fronts across the globe. In Antarctica, Dan Morgan goes on a very personal mission and finds something in the ice that he never expected. In the deceptive calm of the Caribbean, Dan's daughter Alex is hunting a mysterious figure with nuclear ambitions. In the Indian Ocean, Dan's partner Peter Conley confronts a deep-sea mining operation set to unleash worldwide devastation.

Three Zeta teams risking everything on do-or-die missions. Three worst-case scenarios that can obliterate millions of lives in the blink of an eye. Three Ares conspiracies ingeniously designed to seize control by any means. Zeta's limits of endurance and survival are about to be challenged like never before. Because doomsday is coming. The clock is ticking. The final countdown has begun.

Author Biography

Leo Maloney is the acclaimed author of the Dan Morgan Thriller series and its spin-off, the Alex Morgan Thriller series. He was born in Massachusetts, where he spent his childhood and graduated high school. He received an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University, Boston, MA in 1976. In 1966 he was inducted into the army. During basic training he was recruited to become a black ops contractor for a clandestine government agency, and his life changed forever. He traveled the world to strategically important hotspots.

As an independent contractor, he was never required to accept a particular assignment, but rather selected ones that met his criteria that it was in the best interest of the country. Once a mission was underway, there was no turning back. While he was serving his country in the secretive world of black ops over a period of over 30 years, he operated several "cover" businesses including a classic car brokerage, promotions and limousine companies, and a detective agency (he still holds a Private Investigator license in MA). He also coached girls' basketball teams and still runs some of the largest basketball tournaments in the northeast.
After leaving his career in black ops, Leo continued several of his cover businesses, and also had the opportunity to try his hand at acting in independent films and TV commercials. Leo has several movies to his credit both as an actor and behind the camera as a producer, technical advisor, and assistant director. He performed dual roles as a featured performer (a Boston Police Captain) and technical advisor in the movie 27 Down. He served as associate producer for the disaster film CO2, and he both performed the role of Judge and was the producer for the Christian-themed Luke Eleven. Leo appeared in Revenge as Special Agent Andrew Garnell of the FBI in Boston (still in production as a possible HBO pilot series).

He owns and operates the website www.acahoops.com, the premier site for team, tournament, and all other basketball-related information. He lives in Venice, Florida. Visit him at www.leojmaloney.com.
