Mitchell's actions are noble, but naïve. He's out of his league on the rough and tumble streets of Angles City. Mitchell finds himself outnumbered and on the run. Will he be able to make it out of the Philippines, or is his nightmare just beginning?

Author Biography

Dave Ives based his latest novel, Dreams of the Philippines, on his own adventures. He joined the US Air Force in 1981 and served as a medical service specialist at Mather Air Force Base near Sacramento, California. Dave studied engineering at Ohio State University under an active-duty commissioning program. In 1987, he was commissioned as a second lieutenant and assigned to the Buckley Air National Guard Base near Denver, Colorado.

Dave is now a full-time property investor and author. He has written Perception Is Reality: And Other Things I Learned at Officer Training School; Yanks in the Outback: A Story of Woomera, South Australia, the Joint Defense Facility Nurrungar (JDFN), and the First Gulf War;and Working My BUT Off! Reflections of a Property Investor.
