Writing in cursive encourages fluidity of thoughts and improved spelling, too. All the letters in the words are connected and because a child doesn't have to lift a pencil off the paper, thoughts are smoothly converted into words. At third grade, a child would already be introduced to cursive writing. You can make the transition from print much more effective if you have a copy of this workbook around.
