Dean Hunter, ex-NFL defensive end, ex-police detective, has adapted nicely to his off-the-grid lifestyle as owner of the Sandy Turtle reggae bar in Fernandina Beach, Florida. That is, until his old college flame Marcia appears on the porch of the Turtle. In a drunken slur, Marcia asks Dean to help find Jaime, the guy who stole Marcia from Dean back in their college days.
