After three essay collections covering many events of his life, all surprisingly true and many humorous, the time arose for Everett Kunzelman ("One Retired Guy") to write a story based on a historic event in his life that "made a mark", one in which the true story was but a mere fraction of the tale to be shared. And there is still humor - well, that depends on interpretation by the reader, but that was his intention. Really. Honest it was.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

After a brief editing "career" of a few months at a magazine experiencing financial woes, the relatively new college graduate sought out a temporary job to hold him over until his writing career could be reestablished. About 45 years later, after rewarding experiences within the life insurance risk selection profession, the writing effort recommenced with his first attempt at a book in 2019. The career was exciting, but there is so much more to share.

Beyond the life insurance industry, there were the years adding to a life well-lived, creating so much material for essays and the basis for storytelling beyond "work." This time is dedicated to his dogs (all Goldendoodles, including Dawson - she was adopted in September 2021 - and his two, Izzy and Maya, who are no longer with us), his family, his many friends, and his hope for a better world and a better life for all who choose to make it possible.
