Author Biography

Arlene AR Williams began her teaching career in Inglewood, CA. She is inspired by César's character and his vision of justice for the farm worker. As an expression of her passion for teaching urban youth, Williams is thrilled to take her original classroom content and put it onto the pages of this picture book. She relishes in motivating students by introducing them to heroes, teaching them about justice and non-violence, and challenging young people to be leaders and to follow their dreams.
