by MacArthur Johnson (Author)
From the famous Las Vegas Strip to the streets of Bogotá, Columbia, GOING SOUTH is a powerful novel which tells a story of intrigue and betrayal. A CIA agent, Eric Butler, and his partner, Sadie Anderson, are given the task to infiltrate and ultimately destroy one of the largest drug cartels in South America. While pursuing the assignment, they see and become participants in the distortions and savagery that is part of the drug world. Eric Butler becomes disillusioned concerning the motives of his employers, leading him to consider his own betrayal and operating on his own account, with the world as his client.
MacArthur Johnson practiced law for twenty- eight years before moving to the State of Nevada to fill the position of house council for a major construction company. He later became a consulting project manager and superintendent for large heavy civil construction projects in the Las Vegas area. Having retired in 2008, he, his wife Carol, their three dogs, and one cat live in Las Vegas. MacArthur and Carol, a retired teacher, enjoy golf year-round in Nevada's desert climate. While GOING SOUTH is MacArthur's first full length novel, more are destined for the future.
