Author Biography

I grew up in a Marine Corps family and found myself an Air Force scientist married to an Air Force engineer (turning doctor-- almost there!). Four kids later, I can now be found either in the kitchen cooking something yummy or in the living room reading a book out loud to whomever comes over and listens. We homeschool, make most of our food from scratch, run around barefoot, or in Birkenstocks in my case, and really love books. And art. And science. We love a lot of things. So much so, that we started our own store where we share all the great things we have created over the years. It is lovingly called Cake in the Morn (www.cakeinthemorn.com) because every now and again, well, we have been known to have cake for breakfast and think that you should too! While it isn't mainstream, it sure is tasty. Give it a try! It's okay. We won't tell.: )
