He's had close family members murdered, invested decades into a marriage that went bad, raised kids that turned out great, got fired from jobs he desperately needed....and through it all he wrote. There were words in his head that he just needed to get onto paper, mostly fiction, but he never thought he could make any money at it. But life has a way of giving you what you need. He now finds himself in the slightly surreal position of writing for a living. Right now non-fiction articles are his bread and butter, and he writes regularly for outdoor magazines.
