His books include \u003cem\u003eIn Search of the Indo-Europeans\u003c\/em\u003e (1989) and, with Victor Mair, \u003cem\u003eThe Tarim Mummies: The Mystery of the First Westerners in Ancient China\u003c\/em\u003e (2000). He is currently the editor of the \u003cem\u003eJournal of Indo-European Studies\u003c\/em\u003e and was elected to the Royal Irish Academy in 1996. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eD. Q. Adams\u003c\/strong\u003e is Professor of English at the University of Idaho. He holds a PhD in Linguistics (1972) from the University of Chicago (1972). His published work includes \u003cem\u003eAn Introduction to Tocharian Historical Morphology (1988), A Dictionary of Tocharian B\u003c\/em\u003e (1999), and numerous articles on Indo-European and especially Tocharian topics.\u003cbr\u003e J.
