Mark Doel is Emeritus Professor of Social Work at Sheffield Hallam University, UK. He is the author of many books, including Using Groupwork (2005) and The Essential Groupworker (1999) with Catherine Sawdon.

Timothy B. Kelly is Professor of Social Work at the University of Dundee, Scotland. He co-edits the journal Groupwork and has been Secretary and Vice-President of the Association for the Advancement of Social Work with Groups.
